Don´t you mind?

"I am a Millennial. Generation Y. Born between the birth of AIDS and 9/11, give or take. They call us “the Global Generation”. We are known for our entitlement and narcissism. Some say it’s because we’re the first generation where every kid gets a trophy just for showing up. Others think it’s because social media allows us to post every time we fart or have a sandwich for all the world to see. But it seems that our one defining trait is a numbness to the world, an indifference to suffering"- Madison Montgomery, American Horror Story

"he looks like a greek god gone terribly wrong.."

I never really wanted a tattoo.
Well, by that I mean I never really came across anything I wanted to immortalize on my body.
But that was before I discovered The 1975.
I find it difficult to explain what this band, specifically the song “You” means to me. I started listening to this band at a very confusing time in my life, and I vividly remember listening to this song for the first time.
It played, and I was mesmorised. I knew right then and there that this was my song. This song is one I would want to play in the background to my life.
“It takes a bit more” reminds me that I never should have to settle for anything in life. If I want something, I need to work for it. I don’t always have to please other people. It reminds me that I am important and worth something and that I can be someone. But most importantly, this band and this music makes me happier than anything else in the world, and I will forever be grateful for that.
